WHY NON PROFIT

People ask all the time how much money we make. All we can do is shake our head. Non Profit is just that, non profit, as in no profit, as in no money, as in not happening as in nadda, zip, zero, zilch.

So the next question is always, well why do you do it then. Straight forward answer one would think, but not to some people, so I am going to narrow it down as best as possible. We do this for the love of the dogs, not because we are money hungry (not a penny to be made), but because we look at the eyes and nose of dogs who are left to die in horrible situations and try to make the best of what time is left for them. We sacrifice our cup of coffee or our dinner out so we can support the animal in need. Do we take donations? ABSOLUTELY we do, in fact we are extremely fortunate to have an amazing trainer give us a great rate and a veterinarian who does the same thing. We have a local pet store that raises donations every time a person comes in to get their animals nails clipped. We have had grooming discounted (sometimes at no charge!) rates and help with bags of food. We have our dogs in foster homes so they are not in a kennel situation, all these people are donating their time to help with the caring of the dogs also. The list is great, but we can always use more for the "in case of emergency" fund. Would you like to find out more? Maybe volunteer? Make a donation? Or just plain check us out? Please feel free to visit us at facebook and ask any questions you have.
